The Priestley Academy Trust is a group of six schools located in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
The Trust was formed to create a local solution in providing outstanding education and to enable our schools to work together to increase our capacity for embedding and sustaining real school improvement for the benefit of our learners.

Our mission as a Trust is “Together, creating opportunity and aspiration for every child”. This is our guiding statement which drives our operational and strategic strategies.


Our ethos is defined by a values based approach to education where respect for human dignity is paramount. Values are important principles that drive behaviour. They influence our attitudes and actions and become our framework for living.

Whilst we generally follow a ‘traditional’ career route, we recognise that career journeys are nor always linear.
Staff may move between roles and
phases, explore secondments, or take on project-based leadership opportunities, sometimes alongside their substantive role. Our aim is to support every individual in finding a path that aligns with their talent, ambitions and strengths.
